This kitchen design by Teakwood Builders designer Eva Andersen and Brett Balzer of Balzer+Tuck Architecture involved the dismantling and relocation of an 1880’s English threshing barn on the property. The original barn was reconstructed into a new residence and detached two-car garage nestled into an existing meadow behind a stand of mature trees.
The kitchen is all about space. A generously sized slate farmhouse sink, a large island and plenty of cabinet andcounter space make sure there’s always room for entertaining.
The kitchen renovation was honored with the Northeast Regional Award in the 2013-2014 Sub-Zero and Wolf Kitchen Design Contest.
