Remodeling this second home for a couple in China posed some challenges for Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based general contractor Teakwood Builders, but the result is spectacular. The cornerstone of the home renovation was vaulting the ceiling in the living room to create a more open space. The original ceiling line can still be seen in the steel beams. A spacious kitchen adds to the airy feel of the house with light cabinets and recessed lighting.
