Taking The Plunge

This project outside Saratoga Springs transformed the expansive backyard of a bucolic farmhouse into an exquisite poolside retreat. The homeowners envisioned a space for summer fun and entertaining, trading in their local club membership for the ultimate in at-home privacy and enjoyment. Working closely with our clients and Balzer & Tuck Architecture, we created an amenity-rich area featuring an Olympic-sized pool, contemporary cabana, and integrated lighting and sound system. With its post-and-beam construction and sleek design, the cabana combines rustic warmth with modern elegance. It features a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor shower to ensure extended enjoyment, while an inviting fire bowl welcomes guests to linger as day turns into night. Tying the space together and to the main home are handsome horse fencing and a variety of flowering plants and native grasses, creating an alfresco oasis to elevate outdoor living.
