In this Saratoga Lake renovation, the family needed an update that reflected their personalities and lifestyles. Plenty of warm color was used to compensate for the high ceiling in the kitchen and adjoining living room. Depth was achieved by using varying shades of stained wood, oil-rubbed bronze plumbing fixtures and copper-colored light fixtures.
The incredible slab backsplash connects the upper and lower portions of the room, while coffers visually lower the ceiling.
Divided and Unconquered
In the master bathroom, the warmth continues – even in the gray cabinetry. By creating separations between each section of the room with knee walls and glass partitions (the toilet area, to the right of the vanity, has this feature as well) the room feels larger and more luxurious. The shower even has a custom mahogany floating bench for ultimate relaxation.
